These relaxed jeans in soft and lightweight cotton denim have a roomy thigh, and the leg tapers from knee to ankle, ending in a trouser-style hem with a back pleat above it. Designed to sit a little lower on the waist, they can also be worn as a high-rise style pulled up to the natural waist. Finished with a zip fly, a tab waistband with snap closures, front pleats, front slash pockets and back patch pockets. La Mer is a classic dark indigo wash with softly blended sanding.

"These run smaller in the waist than all my size 14 NYDJ jeans, of which I have many. So they don't fit there at all. There's minimal stretch in the waist, but I figured NYDJ, being smart, would adjust for that. Nope. Too bad I must return them. Otherwise I'd totally love them. Nice light weight, stylish looking, great ankle length. Sigh."

Buy these jeans- summer weight perfection

"These are my new summer jeans. Love the two snap closure with the zipper. First time I wore them, it was still quite cool. Paired them with a black turtle neck, heeled ankle boots, which showed off the pleat tuck of the bottom of the jeans. Have come up with a dozen clothing match ups just for summer. Hmmm. "Since I’m not my daughter, I have a waist. These jeans would be perfect if there were a little stretch in the waist. They are very snug, but a size larger would swallow me in the hips. Put an elastic inset in the waistband, make them in more colors, and I would buy multiples!"
