Thick heavy material and run large

"Normally a 4p fits me perfectly but in these I had to just get a 4 and they are huge. I wish I had immediately returned both pairs blue and white! I assumed washing and drying warm and hot I could shrink them: not a bit. The material is heavy and thick and much less comfortable than any of my NYDJ bottoms and I easily own 30 at this point. I like that the leg opening is larger but over all these have a dumpy look on me, need a belt, and the canvas type material is hot and heavy."

Cut or styling changes???

"Has sizing changed? I bought size 12 returned for a size 10 and the shorts are still too big. The fine line is if I buy a 10 and put any weight on they will be too small immediately. Oh my goodness darn I used to live I. This companies jeans/shorts."
