get smaller size in the P shorts

"I didnt mind the shorts but lady told me as being short, the P sizing would be better. She also advised me to go up a size as the waist on the P sizes are a bit bigger so I done so. They arrived today and the waist is really big. I bought the 16P, my normal size is a 14 Regular but the 16P was a lot bigger in the waist so sadly having to return tomorrow. I do wish customer service could tell us measurements when asked. this is the first time i bought this brand name but would know to go down in sizing in these."
