"I love these pants! I wish they would continue making them in petite sizing in more colors. The fit is flattering and the fabric is lightweight and comfortable. They actually do have a slimming effect! At 5’ 1“ I do need to have them, but it is worth it! I rated as four stars due to the longer length. I would think for petite sizing they would’ve been a bit shorter."

Trouser petite pants are huge!

"Trouser pants in petite optic white: Sadly, I was very disappointed in these NYDJ pants. For a petite pant, they were exceedingly long and very large. I bought a 6P that was huge then exchanged those for a 4P. Those were very big as well. I know I am not a 2P and those would have required shortening even if they fit. The fabric, though a nice spring / summer weight, was very wrinkled when the pants arrived and I worried about how they would look after just a few hours of wear. NYDJ pants are usually a tad long but with a great fit and shape -- well worth the purchase and they do last a long time. I hope that NYDJ rethinks this style of pants to better meet truly petite sizes."

"I have one problem. The pants came in with so many wrinkles & double creases that I had to have them pressed at the cleaners for $8. 55. The pants fit great, need a hem. Wish they were not so long."

"I usually purchase Marilyn straight leg jeans but needed cooler slacks for summer. These fit great and are good quality. They are long for me just like Marilyn jeans. I do not wear heels anymore and wish they were an inch shorter."
